Kid's Church

Our Kid’s Church happens during the Sunday morning service. Please feel free to keep your kids with you during the worship time, then after the worship we will dismiss them to Kid’s Church. We have classes for kids ages 2 to 13. For parents with babies, we have a nursery area /cry room in the back part of the sanctuary.

What's Happening

What's Happening in Kids' Church: Fall 2009

Toddler Class (13-36 months): We will be nourishing little bodies and hearts with "Soul Food" as we introduce concepts of learning to obey, trust, rely, share, listen, recognize, remember and feed from filling Bible stories.
Preschool Class (3-5 year olds): We will explore the topics of "God is an Awesome Creator", "In and Out of the Garden", and "God created me to praise Him!"
Early Elementary Class (Grades K-2): We will be stirring up appetites for food that is good for the soul in "Soul Food". Kids will be learning "recipes" to help them obey, trust, rely, share, listen, recognize, remember and feed from God's Word.
Elementary Class (Grades 3-5): In "Bible Blitz-- Getting to Know God: Bible Basics" we will ask: What is the Bible? How do I use the Bible? Why should we read the Bible? What is sin? Who is Jesus? Why did God send Jesus? Who is my best friend? How do I get to heaven? What do angels do? Whay do bad things happen? Who is the Holy Spirit? How does God want me to live? What does God want me to do?
Junior High Class (Grades 6-9): In "Bible Stuff" we will discuss topics as "a camel, a needle and a rich guy", "the most important word that you hardly ever use", "Jesus", "Paul who?", and "Jesus calms the storm". "Tuff Stuff" will prompt us to explore "Aren't all religions the same?", "How do I know what's true?", "Why all the bad stuff?", "End times", and "Fitting in".
